Meet ExxonMobil’s ARA marine fuels sales team

I am excited to introduce the newest members of the Amsterdam-Rotterdam-Antwerp (ARA) ports marine fuels sales team. Lore Gheeraert and Osama Meqbel bring a wealth of experience and are prepared to support our customers.

Lore Gheeraert has been with ExxonMobil for nine years and recently joined the team as a Marine Fuels Account Manager. With a background in chemical engineering, she manages a portfolio of international marine fuel customers. Lore is specifically responsible for ExxonMobil Premium HDME 50™, our Emission Control Area (ECA) compliant fuel. She will also represent ExxonMobil at shipping industry events and is eager to engage with the wider maritime community.

Osama Meqbel has been with the company for three years and recently joined the team as a Sales Account Manager. With a background in sales operations, he handles spot inquiries in ARA and UK ports, including marine gas oil (MGO) and heavy fuel oil (HFO) in the UK, as well as MGO, ExxonMobil Premium HDME 50™ fuel and our EMF.5™ 0.50% sulphur fuel in ARA. Osama will also be attending industry events throughout 2025.

They join Gordana Ćalić, who has been part of the ARA team for almost three years. In addition to her Key Account Manager responsibilities, Gordana is our subject matter expert for EMF.5™ 0.50% sulphur fuel.

Together, their combined experience and expertise will help our customers ensure that vessels bunkering in the ARA ports continue to receive the fuels they need, safely and effectively, while complying with an evolving regulatory landscape.
